| James & Jeanne Lowell - Latin America, Assemblies of God |
|
Jim and Jeanne serve as Directors of Graduate Studies for the Caribbean/Latin America region. Both Jim and Jeanne have PhDs in Intercultural Education. They were appointed by the Assemblies of God World Missions in 1978. They spent over twenty years serving in India. In 1999 they were asked to direct Theological Education for all of Eurasia and based from Brussels, Belgium. They served in this capacity until 2002. They were MIR at Northwest University 2002-2003, spending six months of that time teaching in Finland. In 2004 they joined Caribbean School of Theology where they presently serve. The Lowell's passion is to see the region of the Caribbean become Great Commission Christians in sending missionaries from their countries. They have been mission receiving nations but not missionary senders. As they teach the leaders and the pastors of the Assemblies of God of this region; they have been challenging them in their participation with God in missio Dei. What an exciting time in seeing what God is doing. This last year Jamaica and Guyana presented to their presbytery for the sending of the first missionaries ever from their countries.
