Dr. Bill and Marie Hennessy have been missionaries since 1995.  Along with their four children, they ministered in Nigeria and South Africa where they trained African leaders and planted 19 churches.  Prior to their missionary service, Bill and Marie pastored for more than 14 years in Missouri, Washington and Idaho.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master of Science in Communication and earned the Doctor of Ministry degree in 1997. Marie holds an Associate of Arts degree in Bible and is completing her course work entrance into a nursing program.

The Hennessys now work with Network 211, where Bill directs the 1-2-1 Connections program for Project 10Million, a global Internet evangelism project  that will reach 10million people in 10 years with Christ’s message.

Project 10Million had more than 650,000 unique visitors to their websites during their first year of operation.  During that time, they averaged more than one visitor every minute to sites such as journeyanswers.com and who-jesus-is.com.  The results were astounding. More than 50,000  people made decisions for Christ and more than 23,000 people entered the discipleship system that Bill directs.

Additionally, they developed a team of more than 250 volunteers who use the 121 Connections messaging system to provide those coming to Christ with discipleship materials, encouragement and assistance in locating a local church.

Bill also helped create the Facebook “My Story” application that allows Facebook users to post a video of their faith story on their home page that features the Project 10Million “Yes” button. This allows those who come  to Christ to receive spiritual assistance, discipleship and help in finding a local church. Marie also works with Operation Rescue in the area of contact management.

In addition to serving as Assemblies of God missionaries, the Hennessys serve as life group leaders in their local church while their children, Thomas, James and Bethany are involved in ministry to youth and children. Their oldest daughter Rachel is married to Daniel Joubert.
