Bob entered the ministry after attending Northwest Bible College. He pastored various Assemblies of God churches for nearly 22 years in the state of Washington. During this time he served in many capacities in Sectional and District functions of the Assemblies of God including Sectional Presbyter. In 1976, Bob became involved in Men's Ministries on the District level as a member of the Men's Ministries Administrative Committee, serving as Lifestyle Evangelism Chairman. He also served as Royal Ranger Sectional Chaplain and Divisional Commander.
Bob traveled overseas in helping to establish international Royal Rangers. Arranged and conducted MAPS trips to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Has traveled and ministered in 23 foreign countries, including India, Sri Lanka, and Ghana West Africa, where he helped head a team that began Royal Rangers. he also helped lead a Prayer Task force to Bolivia where a team planted a new church and was involved in a Prayer to Quito, Ecuador. He helped in leading a ministry team of men and women to Russia where 50,000 copies of the Book of Life was distibuted to 50,000 as well.
In 1987, Bob was elected as the Northwest District Men's Director. Besides the duties as District Men's Director, Bob served on the National Men's committee and the National Light-for-the-Lost committee. He was the 1994 National Men's Director of the year and received the Light-for-the-Lost Gold Key Century award. Bob retired from the District as Men's Director in 1997. He and his wife settled in Sunnyside, Washington where he became an associate alongside the lead pastor working with the elderly of Neighborhood Church.
Bob and his wife Shirley have been married 56 years. They have three married children, two daughters and a son, five granddaughters and on grandson.
